I made two mistakes while connecting my HP OMEN 15-en1507na gaming laptop to Dell U2414H monitor via display-port.
The HP OMEN 15-en1507na gaming laptop has a mini display-port, and the Dell U2414H monitor has three display ports, a mini display-port and two normal display-ports. I am using the mini-display-port cable came with the Dell U2414H monitor.
The first mistake is I connected to the output display-port, the Dell U2414H monitor has two normal sized display-port, one is for input and another is for output.
The second mistake is you need to go to the Dell U2414H monitor's menu, and enable the display-port v1.2.
The problem has been solved since I fixed the above two mistakes.

Gaming laptop usually come with a big power adapter (aka power block) and it is usually running hot during gaming. My the power adapter of my HP ProBook is only 65W, but the power adapter come with HP OMEN is 200W. The power adapter of gaming laptop is running hot during gaming and the high temperature will reduce the life span of the power adapter.
Here is some tricks to reduce the temperature of the power adapter.
1, lift up the power adapter
The power adapter can dissipate heat on all its surface, but the bottom surface is usually blocked by the table, this reduce the heat dissipate surface area by about 1/3. Put anything underneath to lift up the power adapter will significantly increase the heat dissipate surface, there for increase the heat efficiency to reduce the overall temperature.
2, add a metal plate underneath
This is to let the bottom surface to dissipate heat to the metal place first, and then let the metal plate to dissipate the heat to the air. Similar to point 1, this is to increase the heat dissipation of the bottom surface to increate the heat dissipate efficiency, therefore to reduce the overall temperature.
3, Use a power adapter stand
The power adapter stand will make power adapter stand vertically, so both large surface has a very good for air to flow to increase the heat dissipation surface, improve the air flow, therefore to reduce the temperature
4, Use a active fan or any air flow
You could put adapter put front of a fan, or add somewhere near the laptop cooler to have better air flow to reduce the heat dissipation.

The HP OMEN 15-en1507na laptop was bought from Currys & PC World, but this is not the seller's faulty, in fact the Currys is offerring a good service.
The laptop costs me £1047. The original price is £1299, and there is a discount of £100 and an extra £153 trade-in discount with trade-in of my old tablet.
I had this screen flickering issue 3 times with in a week from new, their lots of horizontal or vertical white lines acrossing the screen as shown in the photo or video . The laptop is on the way back to seller via DPD UK, I shall receive a replacement soon.
I quite like the laptop performance and the screen (2560x1440, 300nit), Gaming performance is also quite good, the cpu utilization is usually very low on gaming. The CPU utilization is less than 20% in my case. The laptop keyboard area is not very hot during gaming(I have an external keyboard).
Only small issue is there are slight none-wind fan noise when fan speed is low. When fan speed is high, the none-wind fan noise is gone, only pure wind noise remain. As my old laptop (HP Probook) is also making lots noise, so these slight none-regular fan noise doesn't bother me.
Overall, I like the laptop.
If you are facing same or similar screen flickering issue, please message below or on my youtube channel.

Some people reported update AMD driver fixed the issue on some laptop, we did check the AMD driver in windows 10 update, it is already the latest one on this laptop. But we didn't try to download the AMD driver directly from the AMD website. My laptop has been returned to Currys & PC World, maybe you can try and let me know if it is fixed.
The gear information is not shown in dashboard display. The gearbox is believe to be stuck on 2nd gear, the car speed is 30miles per hour while the engine is running at 3000 rpm.

This video shows how to flash test, analyse and repair and improvements the LED back-light for LG TVs.
It suggested several improvements for users and manufactures. First it suggest repairer to add a parallel resister to protect the non-original LEDs, second it suggested TV owners to turn down the back light brightness to 75% or lower to make the LED back light strip last longer. Third it suggested a way to increase the LED back light reliability for TV manufacture.
