Solar panels installed  photo
   

Panels: 340w x 3
Inverters: enphase iq7 240w, enphase iq7 240w,enphase iq7+ 290w. total 770w

As the Solar panel is mounted vertically on the wall, assume the best sun light direction is 45 degree Celsius, than the best efficient of this setting is about 14% which is 20% * 70%.

Inverter is mounted on the back of solar panel, it is not mounted on the frame via enphase mount kit because the clearance between panel and wall is only 30mm which is not enough for the enphase iq7 micro inverter.

U profile aluminium bar (from Screwfix) is used to give extra 10mm clearance. Yes, the bar is a bit too thin, but that is the best I can find for this purpose.

ZigBee Solar meter:

The AC isolator is lockable at OFF position which is required by UK regulation.
The Hiking  DDS 388-2 zigbee meter measures bidirectional energy (import and export energy),  but only report single energy in zigbee traffic.  Also there is no power factor, no negtive power, no negtive current reported in zigbee traffic.

Solar panel and inverter are assembled and commissioned on the ground, then lifted by home made CRANE to the  position.

Design is modeled in 3D to check clearance and interference with other objects such  as CCTV, extract fan exhaust etc.

Wall mount rail and hook nut (M6 Thread T Slot Nuts)
   


T slot nut is used to "hook" the panel to the rail for easy installation.
   

This is the screwbots I used to mount the rail, each of this should easy hold 100kg.  3 bolts are used for each 2.5m long rail.
