Before making my third pack of battery for my electric bike (Trek Ride+, BionX G1 I2C system, 4P11S 40.8V battery), I connected 1P10S 3aH battery and it works fine.
The console shows battery level bar of about 2(I can't remember exactly bars as I forgot taking photos), internal diagnostic code (3772) shows message of low voltage, but using acceleration setting of 4, I rode about 7km with 3AH 10S battery. The ride assistant from the motor is good enough for me to ride comfortable.
It seems the console shows battery low as long as the battery pack voltage is below 39V, but it is still allows power to motor to assist the ride.
As it is 10S 36V battery, so don't expect big push as the 11S 40.8V battery.
Full charged 10S battery pack voltage: 4.2x10=42V
Empty 11S battery pack voltage: 3.0x11=33V
